Been doing my own setups for probably 10 years and still picked up stuff I was doing wrong. The truss rod part honestly, I always white-knuckled that adjustment. Not anymore.
I've got an acoustic I keep in DADGAD and an electric tuned to drop D, and the settings he gives for each are spot on. Didn't realize how much the tuning and style should change the setup until I saw the numbers side by side.
